About Little Miracles

Little Miracles Learning Academy, Inc. (LMLA) is a federally designated nonprofit entity established in Florence, South Carolina in 2019. The founder, Markeisha Godbolt-Jackson, has a vision of all children being included in a high quality safe learning environment; where they can grow and learn together in spite of their challenges. The Academy will provide specialized academic support and enrichment, developmental programs, therapeutic intervention, and after school care and tutoring for its participants.

Little Miracles Learning Academy ensures that all of its early learners and participants will have a safe learning environment and programs that are designed to meet their unique developmental, academic, and social needs. Therapeutic interventions will include ( but will not be limited to) speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support the continued growth and development of all early learners. Additional therapeutic interventions will be added based on individual assessments and the needs of early learners. Also, LMLA will offer parents and families information on available resources; workshops; support and involvement programs; and other learning opportunities

Little Miracles Learning Academy will be operated by its founder and Executive Director. The Academy will be governed by a Board of Directors comprised of community members and leaders with the knowledge, experience and networks that support the growth, maintenance and sustainability of the organization. Financial support and in-kind donations to the organization will be provided in part from the generosity of foundations, corporations, and individual supporters. More importantly, the Academy will foster opportunities for networking and relationship development among key stakeholders in Florence County, surrounding counties, and throughout the state of South Carolina to ensure the organization’s success. As awareness and support of the organization grows, Little Miracles Learning Academy will seek to increase the number of participants it serves, enhance the services offered, and expand its geographic reach.
